Captions are automatically generated with your video. You can customize them further, edit the text, change the style, reposition them, or adjust their timing.
Opening captions
Click the Caption tab in the sidebar.
Adding a new caption line
1. Click 'Add new caption line'
2. Type the caption text
3. Set the time you want it to appear on screen
Changing style, position, and size
Select a caption in the sidebar or on the preview. You can change the font style, drag it to reposition it on the video, and resize it directly in the preview window.
Adjusting caption timing
Caption duration is controlled from the layer in the timeline. Drag the edges of the caption layer to extend or shorten when it appears.
Removing a caption
Select the caption from the layer, right click and choose delete.
