Most payment failures come down to one of three things: insufficient funds, an expired card, or a 3D Secure (3DS) authentication issue.
What happens when a payment fails
Day 0: Payment fails. Stripe begins automatic retries.
Day 1: You receive an email with a link to update your payment method.
Days 3, 7, 14: Further retries. Additional reminder emails sent. Free Credit and platform access expire if payment remains unresolved.
Non-expired Main Credits are preserved throughout the retry period.
How to fix it
Update your payment method via the Stripe Billing Portal in your Account page. Once a payment succeeds, your Free Credit is fully restored and your billing cycle updates to the reactivation date.
